These table runners use a gorgeous weaving draft I reconstructed from a Mayan design that is also popular in Guatemalan weaving today. The design is especially fun because the two sides of the place mats have different dominant colors. I've structured this table runner so that one side has warm neutrals (beige and pale pink) and the other side is cool neutrals with pale grays. It's a subtle effect, but you can change the mood of your kitchen by simply flipping over your table decorations!
The table runner is 15 inches wide, and comes in a variety of lengths from 4ft to 7ft long. Traditionally, you want to order a table runner that is 1ft longer than your table so that it has a 6inch drop on each side. However, modern design likes a table runner that is shorter than your table so the fringe is visible. If you'd like a custom length of runner, just send me a message!
