Silk noil is one of my favorite fibers to work with. Sometimes called raw silk or eco-silk because it's usually made from rejected silk fibers, it retains all the strength and anti-microbial properties of silk, while having a matte texture and a soft hand. These patches are slightly more drapey and delicate than the ones featuring thicker fibers and are perfect for light weight patches.
