Collection: Sew-On Fabric Patches

These handwoven fabric patches are perfect for your visible mending repairs, or even just as a decorative patch! They're created from my leftover samples when I'm testing new woven structures and yarns. Each patch is created from a rectangle of cloth, all four sides have been serged and treated to protect from fraying. Then have been pressed back to create neat folded edges. They're ready to sew on, and need no special tools or techniques.. The patches can be applied with either a sewing machine or hand stitched into place.

I used the patches to decorate a boring camera bag, and repair a much loved pair of shorts. The biggest patches could even be used to make a pocket on a tshirt, or light jacket. The patches are already ironed and are ready to be pinned and then stitched into place.
