READY TO SHIP!

This gorgeous handwoven fabric is now available for purchase for your own sewing projects! It is made from 100% USA grown organic undyed cotton yarn handwoven on a mechanical loom. It is a medium weight fabric, with a light drape, perfect for shirts, light sweaters, skirts and dresses. It dyes beautifully, and is the perfect pairing for any natural dye projects you've been dieing to try ;-). Personally, I'll be using this fabric to feature some indigo dips, as well as some bundle dyeing with onion skins to create unique patterns. What could you do with 100% USA grown organic cotton fabric?

This fabric is machine washable, and so are any projects you make from it! We recommend that you protect seams by using a serger, zig zag stitch, or bias binding, but with proper care your handwoven garments will last as long or longer than those sewn from commercial fabric.

I've used this fabric in other colors to sew the Wiksten shift shirt, and the Fancy Tiger Crafts Fen Dress, and have gotten incredible compliments on both pieces. This fabric takes dye beautifully and is perfect for natural dyeing and eco printing.

The fabric is 54" wide, and available in 1/2 yard increments. Your yardage will arrive as a continuous cut, so if you order a quantity of 5 you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 2.5 yards long.
